Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cosmetics and personal care space across retail, e-commerce, and B2B channels. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, beauty salons, and online marketplaces. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy and identify emerging trends in the cosmetics industry. Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks to potential partners and clients. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align business development efforts with brand positioning and product launches. Track and report on KPIs such as conversion rates, pipeline growth, deal closure timelines, and partner performance. Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Negotiate and close partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and contractual terms. Monitor market feedback and customer insights to recommend improvements in product offerings and distribution strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, or personal care industry. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and partnership targets. Strong understanding of the Indian cosmetics market, including regional consumer preferences and distribution channels. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a professional demeanor. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis platforms. Networking ability and a proactive approach to building relationships across diverse business segments.
