Description
Process engineering and design activities for mineral processing plants, including expertise in process selection, equipment sizing, and inter-disciplinary coordination. • Exposure to basic engineering, feasibility, and DPR stage projects. • Strong command over process calculations, flow sheet development, and equipment design. • Develop and optimize processes involving crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, gravity and magnetic separation, thickening, filtration, and tailings handling. • Develop process designs and basic engineering deliverables for mineral processing plants. • Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), design basis, and process descriptions. • Perform mass and water balance calculations, equipment sizing, and selection. • Provide process inputs for plant layout and CAPEX/OPEX estimation. • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams for multidisciplinary integration. • Interface with OEMs, licensors, and test-work agencies during design development. • Support technical bid evaluations, feasibility studies, and commissioning activities. • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with AutoCAD or other engineering design tools. Requirements Minimum 7 years Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
