Perform on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs of engineering equipment and systems. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools. Maintain accurate and detailed service records using company CRM and maintenance management software. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to report field issues, performance trends, and product improvement feedback. Provide technical support and guidance to clients during equipment operation and training sessions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company quality protocols during all field activities. Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with logistics for timely procurement and delivery. Travel to client locations across Bangalore and surrounding regions as required, often on short notice. Participate in continuous training and certification programs to stay updated on new technologies and product updates. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification). 2–5 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support within industrial or engineering environments. Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, control systems, or automation equipment. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC-based systems. Strong understanding of safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and OSHA or ISO standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and service ticketing platforms.
