Description
Develop and execute an annual L&D strategy and plan tailored to African operations. Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across all departments to identify skill gaps and prioritize learning initiatives. Design and deliver multilingual training programs in French, Swahili, English, and Hindi covering induction, safety, compliance, technical skills, and soft skills. Build structured training frameworks that support business growth and scalability across group companies. Lead the design and delivery of leadership and management development programs, including coaching for frontline supervisors and managers. Implement and manage LMS or e-learning platforms, ensuring digital content, dashboards, and tracking systems are maintained and optimized. Partner with vendors and external training providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective learning solutions. Measure training impact and ROI through data-driven evaluation and reporting. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations through effective onboarding and training protocols. Foster strong stakeholder relationships across business units and leadership teams. Lead and mentor an L&D team to drive continuous improvement and innovation in learning practices. Requirements Candidate must have experience from Mining, Manufacturing, Engineering, EPC, Energy, Construction, Logistics, or relevant heavy industry • Must have experience training themselves, not just developing programs. Must have experience delivering training programs and training trainers • Expansion of L&D functions across multiple business units and international locations • Build structured training frameworks aligned with business growth. • Must have Africa-specific workforce training experience required • To design, develop and deliver comprehensive learning and development solutions across group companies in Africa, enhancing workforce capability, leadership strength, and operational productivity.
