Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounts for our retail store operations in Nigeria. This role is specifically for an Indian expatriate with strong accounting expertise, capable of handling all aspects of accounting independently. All aspects of daily accounting operations for retail stores in Nigeria. Prepare and review financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with Nigerian accounting standards and internal financial policies. Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts regularly. Utilize Tally ERP or equivalent accounting software for efficient transaction processing and reporting. Develop and deliver detailed financial reports using advanced Excel functions and data analysis. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business performance. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Provide guidance and support to local finance teams as needed. Requirements - Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in retail accounting. - Excellent knowledge of Tally ERP or equivalent accounting software. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas and reporting. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards is an advantage. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
