Job Title: Lead Engineer – Civil Structure Modelling/Detailing Location: Vadodara Experience: 2–3 years (as Lead Engineer managing a team) Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed university/institute Salary-35000-40000 Job Overview We are seeking a Lead Engineer – Civil Structure Modelling/Detailing to lead a team of 10–15 modellers and detailers. The candidate should have strong expertise in structural modelling, detailing, client coordination, and team management while ensuring quality delivery within project timelines. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 10–15 modellers and detailers. Plan, allocate, and monitor work to ensure timely project completion with required quality. Understand STAAD Pro outputs and translate them into modelling and detailing requirements. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and prepare execution plans. Assess workload and manage resources to meet targets within allocated man-hours. Ensure quality assurance of all documents and drawings before submission to clients. Review and edit drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications and standards. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders through emails and reports. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for clients and management. Coordinate with clients for completed work certification. Technical Requirements Excellent proficiency in Tekla Structures software. Ability to interpret STAAD Pro outputs for modelling and detailing. Knowledge of international standards such as IS, AISC, CISC, etc. Experience in 3D modelling of steel structures in industries such as: Petroleum refinery Petrochemicals Fertilizer and chemical plants Power plants Steel industry BIM projects Structural Modelling Experience Heavy Structures: Pipe racks, galleries, junction houses, etc. Light Structures: Platforms for vessels/columns, static equipment platforms, technology platforms, chimney platforms, ladders, staircases, railings, etc. Performance Benchmarks Heavy structure modelling: ~500 MT/month Light structure modelling: ~30 MT/month Knowledge of STAAD Pro design will be an added advantage. Other Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate team members and improve productivity. Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality.
