THE OPPORTUNITY:

Requirements Specialist for our Rail Systems Engineering team. Supporting the day-to-day activities of requirements management, taking on duties and tasks as assigned by the Requirements Management Lead. Reporting to the System Engineering Manager/Lead, you will work collaboratively with a team of Requirements Specialists, Systems Engineers, Designers and Project Managers on requirements management activities for transit and LRT projects.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze requirements for conformity to project and industry standards.
  • Identify conflicts, duplications and gaps in the project requirements set.
  • Assign requirements to responsible parties.
  • Develop new requirements, whether through elicitation, derivation or decomposition.
  • Engage with stakeholders, at all levels, to review and approve requirements and relevant attributes.
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve issues with requirements.
  • Develop and maintain traceability to other requirement or project artifacts.
  • Maintain the requirements baseline, track changes, and conduct version control.
  • Support in assessing the impact of proposed changes.
  • Report progress on requirements analysis and development activities.
  • Support and directly engage with other Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance professionals to ensure delivery of SE and SA activities for complex systems, inline with industry standards and client requirements.Maintain a good understanding of the project’s domain, industry standards, and best practices.
