Location: Buttershaw, Bradford (hybrid working)
Work Type: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Requisitions Manager to join the Developer Services team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

WHAT SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:
- Ideally degree-qualified or equivalent - Engineering, Construction, Project Management or Environmental disciplines.
- Understanding of clean water networks and their operation through the water cycle.
- Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of water mains design and construction.
- Specialist or subject matter expert of a technical area and/or operational experience of water assets and systems from Source to tapCommercial awareness.
- Strong people manager with proven experience managing large teams
- Excellent leadership qualities with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
- Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to identify, deliver and embed change to influence and drive positive culture and behaviours to drive performance improvement.
- Ability to operate in a highly regulated environment.
- Passionate about customer service and business performance.
- Experience of working within a resource planning environment.
- It would be desirable if you have Project Management or Contract Management experience and/or related qualifications
- It would also be advantageous if you understand relevant sections of the Water Industry Act, Town and Country Planning Act and other relevant legislation (e.g. Land Drainage, Highways and Building Acts).
- Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience would also be beneficial
