Position Title: Research Administration Management Associate
Working Title: Research Administration Manager, Center for Innate Immunity and Inflammation
Supervisor: Director, Center for Innate Immunity and Inflammation (CIII)
Department: OSUCCC – James, Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position plays a central role in administration of research initiatives of the Center for Innate Immunity and Inflammation (CIII) and the laboratory of Glen Barber, PhD, supporting scientific and translational productivity. The Analyst collaborates extensively with CIII faculty, staff, and multidisciplinary research teams to advance research programs aligned with the Center’s strategic vision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prefer 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in research administration, program/project management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research funding mechanisms, compliance, and grant management best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with biomedical or immunological research environments.
  • Experience supporting high-level faculty in academic or clinical research settings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Workday and MS Teams preferred.
