The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI) is a part of the Susan & Henry College of Health Sciences and UCI Health. The Samueli Institute works to transform healthcare through the practice of integrative health by conducting rigorous research, promoting evidence-informed treatment modalities, educating the public on well-being practices, providing individualized, patient-centered clinical care and providing services to the community that focus on obtaining optimal health.
Responsibilities:
This Research Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the operational and financial administration of clinical research studies and programs at the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI). Reports to the Administrative Director of Research, the Research Administrator assists on general operational matters, including but limited to regulatory management, scheduling, staff coordination, and purchasing/accounting to support clinical research studies and programs of the SSIHI Research Core. The Research Administrator will also assist with the management and administration of the BraveNet Practice-Based Research Network (a network consisting of national and international sites involved in integrative health research) and associated multisite projects, including basic administrative tasks and scheduling. The Research Administrator will attend Samueli Endowed Chairs research lab weekly meetings and assist in ensuring that research faculty have the administrative support they need to carry out research activities and achieve their research goals.
