Research Analyst The Opportunity: As a Research Analyst on our team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Director and senior leadership, supporting strategic initiatives, posture-related operational planning, and modernization integration in alignment with strategic plans and requirements and data-driven analysis. You will produce executive-level decision briefs, background papers, and posture-aligned communications and manage engagements that synchronize operational timelines with modernization priorities. You’ll synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights for readiness, mobility, and modernization pacing and coordinate cross-functional planning across operational planners, infrastructure teams, and modernization leads to ensure unity of effort. You Have: 5+ years of experience supporting senior leadership in a government, military, or strategy-focused environment Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders or functional teams Ability to produce high-quality executive-level posture and modernization decision-making products such as decision memos, talking points, or strategic briefs Ability to interpret data, synthesize findings, and integrate insights into strategic recommendations TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience with DoD posture planning frameworks such as PPBE, DOTMLPF-P, or Joint Planning Process Experience with posture and modernization data platforms such as ADVANA, SPEAR, or PMIS Possession of excellent data literacy skills Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills Master’s degree in National Security, Public Administration, Business, or Data Science Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
