Description CG Advisor Network (CGAN), a division of CG Financial Services, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Research Analyst to support portfolio oversight, compliance auditing, and investment research. What You’ll Do: Auditing and Compliance Oversight: Audit CRM and portfolio management systems to verify data accuracy and adherence to firm policies and Investment Policy Statements. Review client accounts for deviations from CGAN guidelines, documenting findings and coordinating resolution. Monitor routine portfolio activity to ensure consistency with client objectives and established compliance standards. Provide decision-making support on accounts that fall outside CGAN policies, escalating as appropriate. Research and Analytics: Prepare and maintain investment research and marketing collateral in support of the Chief Market Strategist Maintain and troubleshoot client and internal reports to ensure accuracy and timely distribution. Analyze portfolio performance across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Prepare trade tax projections to support client tax planning and asset-gathering initiatives. Participate in Investment Committee preparation and meetings. Advisor and Team Support: Support advisors on better understanding wealth strategies. Assist with new wealth advisor onboarding and strategy adoption to advance CGAN’s business development goals. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver portfolio performance insights and operational improvements. Assist with routine portfolio maintenance tasks, including rebalancing and systematic transactions, as needed. Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in investment markets and data. Valid Series 65 license required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. Experience with portfolio rebalancing systems; familiarity with Orion Eclipse is a plus. Working knowledge of trade processes, error resolution, and compliance best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and with Financial Advisors. Why CG Financial Services?
