Responsibilities
PJT Partners is seeking to hire a Research Analyst to join our Corporate team. This role requires an extremely well-organized individual to assist on a variety of tasks including research, contract management, data, and artificial intelligence initiatives across the firm. This individual will work closely with each of the PJT Partners business groups and with the Corporate teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with daily research requests using various market data providers to deliver meaningful support to deal teams. This may include, but is not limited to, company and industry information, precedent transactions, and macro data.
• Management of European focussed contracts including renewals, user changes and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Train current and new employees on available market data sources and coordinate various vendor led training sessions.
• Supporting global data initiatives including scoping and sourcing of potential new services, data provider implementations and integrations.
• Become a subject matter expert on relevant industry/regional resources to support PJT’s businesses in EMEA and APAC.
• Develop a deep understanding of AI-enabled financial research platforms to enable decision making on appropriate tools for PJT to review and onboard.
• Leverage AI platforms to automate and enhance data analysis, providing deeper and more accurate insights on company and industry-related questions.
• Integrate machine learning tools and techniques into daily research activities.

Qualifications

We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and are proven self-starters. In addition to strong design skills, the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, interests outside of work and a desire to work in a team environment.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to multi-task within a small team.
• Communicate effective and clearly via email to clients and internal team.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Knowledge of Cap IQ, Factset, Bloomberg, LSEG and other market data providers an advantage.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
