We are seeking a highly analytical Research Analyst to work directly with the Founder on strategic initiatives across market research, competitive analysis, industry trends and M&A scouting. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone with strong data and research skills who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
You’ll play a critical role in helping identify market trends, evaluate strategic opportunities, and generate insights that shape the company’s direction.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take direction from the founder and conduct market and competitor analysis to support decision making and potential acquisitions
  • Analyse financial reports, publicly available data and insights to create information as requested by the founders
  • Conduct detailed research on competitors, industry trends, and emerging markets
  • Identify and assess potential acquisition targets, including financial and strategic fit
  • Build and maintain market and competitor intelligence dashboards
  • Analyze large datasets and create models in Excel or other tools to support decision-making
  • Support the creation of content, presentations, and research publications
  • Collaborate across functions (marketing, product, finance, sales, trading) to gather insights and validate findings
  • Synthesize findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for the founder and executive team
