World Headquarters is seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented individual to serve as a member of the Research and Analysis Department. The Research objective is to encourage data-driven decisions that support the strategic plan, forecast business metrics, act as a service bureau for business data, and provide operational support to departments that require data to conduct department-specific job functions.
The Research Analyst is a core member of the department and is responsible for developing research questions, identifying appropriate methodologies and techniques, accurately analyzing survey and model results, and writing detailed reports. The Research Analyst works with a great deal of autonomy and is expected to work at the highest level of accuracy in all facets of the data analysis process.

DESCRIPTION

  • Build, organize, and prepare datasets for analysis and use advanced statistical techniques
  • Design research surveys with a wide range of response formats aimed at collecting quantitative and qualitative data
  • Use innovative techniques to gather, interpret, and visualize data (including maps and infographics)
  • Continuously streamline data collection and reporting processes
  • Clearly summarize and present research results to a variety of audiences
  • Consistently seek new ways for the department and organization to run more efficiently

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent data processing and analysis skills using R
  • Advanced statistical analysis (multiple regression, text analytics, time series)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly analytical with excellent organizational skills
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in statistics, linguistics, psychology, sociology, computer science, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • Minimum of three years of research experience
  • Experience with statistical computing and modeling using R
  • Experience designing surveys with a wide range of response formats

You must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home. Work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (typically 2 per week) in our office at 9127 S. Jamaica St., Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
