Position Summary The Research Analyst works collaboratively with Orgel Wealth Management’s in-house research team to support investment strategy, perform ongoing monitoring of investment managers, evaluate market trends, and contribute to the education of internal teams and clients regarding portfolio decisions. The Research Analyst should demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic, with an expectation of continuous learning and professional growth. This individual must exhibit strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a commitment to serving clients with excellence, and the ability to operate with accountability while working under the guidance of senior team members. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence research on investment managers across a variety of asset classes, under the guidance of senior research team members. Analyze market trends that affect Orgel Wealth Management’s investment models using quantitative, macroeconomic, and capital markets research skills and third-party systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, etc.). Maintain and improve recurring research and reporting processes, including model updates, data validation, and performance reporting, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency through better tools or workflows. Remain informed on market trends and investment themes, contributing research insights and analysis to support portfolio positioning and investment decisions. Assist in the development and maintenance of analytical and programming tools designed to monitor and respond to changing market environments. Assist in the creation of written research content, internal memos, client communications, and presentation materials that clearly articulate investment decisions, portfolio positioning, and market developments. Apply and continue to develop quantitative analytical skills to evaluate and model various investment products and investment strategies. Provide research and analytical support to internal teams across the organization, including relationship management, by preparing clear explanations, supporting analysis, and well-structured materials to enhance client decision-making. Conduct oneself at all times in accord with The Orgel Way and maintain the highest standards of client confidentiality and organizational discretion.
