Savills is seeking a Data Analyst to join their regional Research and Data Insights team. The successful candidate will be responsible to collect, organise and analyse real estate data from a range of sources into a central database. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various market research techniques, data collection, storage and analysis procedures. Savills is a globally recognised real estate brand and offers the opportunity for growth and development. We are looking for a motivated and professional individual with an interest in benefiting from the support and experience the brand can offer Key Responsibilities Extract data on real estate sectors such as residential, office, industrial retail and also on regional economy and social trends from a variety of different sources and compile them on a central database Communicating and coordinating with staff across the Savills business (by phone and e-mail) to procure necessary data or/and share relevant updates and trends for the region Editing and updating existing data as and when changes become apparent Review historical materials held on record with a view to standardise, clean or update the data Working with colleagues in other departments to enhance visibility on location of data sources and onboard new data as and when identified Put in place processes to regularly review data integrity Identify real estate trends, opportunities and provide necessary support in creating relevant content to increase visibility for Savills in the region Undertake market visits when required to increase market understanding and to collect relevant data points Deliver analytical support in the development of in-house view on the property markets, for use with clients and the press Develop and deliver a range of presentations on the property market for internal and external audiences, whilst also supporting the development of presentations for senior business leaders across the region Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, spread in different locations and offices Skills, Knowledge and Experience Working knowledge of relevant software packages such as Power BI, Excel, and other data analytics and reporting platforms Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.) An aptitude for numeracy and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines Takes initiative, able to problem solve, highly organised with an aptitude to learn different processes quickly Ability to present market analysis to clients and colleagues in English (Arabic Beneficial) Highly proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI. A thorough understanding of real estate fundamentals and wider socio/economic analysis Organize and administer a work program, working independently and as part of a team and multiple teams within the region Should be process oriented and structured in approach Experience of content generation and working with corporate social media would be advantageous but is not essential.
