REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Background in engineering with experience in electronic warfare concepts
  • Experience in detailed hardware analysis for engineering research projects
  • Basic understanding of UAV concepts and technology
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to create and explain detailed and complex analysis results to technical and non-technical customers
  • Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to be onsite five days a week
  • Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • U.S Citizenship

Our research and engineering protects mission-critical systems and a broad range of initiatives in computer network defense, electronic warfare, secure-by-design techniques, and cyber operations and experimentation platforms. Your expertise and areas of interest may be applied on one or more programs, providing you new opportunities to learn and grow.
The candidate will possess the ability to work independently utilizing their experience in engineering analysis, trade study analysis, and electronic warfare to assess and prioritize UAV hardware per customer requirements. In addition, create and brief customers using various formats such as PowerPoint presentations, technical short papers, and white papers. Comfortable interacting directly with customers and external agencies to provide technical information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Conduct trade study of available hardware that fits within customer requirements of SWaP and performance parameters, or is currently in use for similar applications
  • Create a prioritization mapping that describes the technology currently available, most applicable to the customer, and expected future advances or platforms
  • Design of an analysis and evaluation methodology that can be used to score both technology and industry solutions
  • Generation of reports for dissemination, written and oral, to the customer and other stakeholders
  • Recommendations on paths-forward at the conclusion of the project to inform the customer based on responses received from industry
