THE ROLE:

EMN is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Research & Development Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Science Officer, you will contribute to the further investigation and knowledge translation of EMN’s products, with the overall goal of driving research, implementation, and sales traction. The position requires strong attention to detail, writing, research, and critical appraisal skills.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create nutrition education modules that will be used to educate colleagues
• Create surgeon and patient-facing nutrition education resources to communicate nutrition concepts as it pertains to surgical optimization and recovery
• Perform literature searches and critical reviewing of literature
• Execute market and competitor reviews to guide product development
• Find quality sources of information, evaluate the hierarchy of evidence, and provide evidence summaries to reporting manager
• Assist with the design and update of marketing materials
• Other ad hoc projects as require
