We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a skilled Research and Development Specialist with extensive experience in Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (LCMS) to join our method development team.
We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LCMS operation with extensive hands-on experience in method development. Experience working with perfluorinated compound detection is a strong asset.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 year of hands-on experience with data acquisition and analysis using LCMS (LC-MS/MS an asset).
  • Proficiency in method validation protocols and analytical quality control procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulations and guidelines governing Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) analysis an asset.
  • Experience developing PFAS detection methods is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Development standard operating procedures and work instructions to perform analyte testing using LCMS (method development).
  • Perform analysis and data acquisition optimization studies using LCMS, ensuring test methods achieve the desired accuracy, precision, and sensitivity required by regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct method validation studies in accordance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments to ensure reliable and consistent results.
  • Interpret analytical data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Support other analysts as needed.
