Wellington based position only Support high‑impact research and evaluation informing better outcomes Collaborative team where organisation keeps complex funding on track Midpoint of $63,794 dependent on experience Ko tōu ake mahi - What you’ll do The Fund Administrator plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the Ministry’s Research and Evaluation Fund and associated research contracts. Providing high‑quality administrative and operational support, this role ensures core processes, systems, and financial controls and ongoing evaluation run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with managers, teams, and external stakeholders, the Fund Administrator helps enable timely, accurate, and well‑governed investment in research and evaluation that supports the Ministry’s functions and priorities. Administer the day‑to‑day operation of the Research and Evaluation Fund in line with policies, delegations, and financial controls. Maintain accurate records of funding allocations, approvals, contracts, expenditure, and payments using the Fund tracker. Monitor alongside Finance fund balances and identify risks or issues, escalating them to the Manager as needed. Coordinate meetings, communications, and information requests to support effective fund and contract management. Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes, systems, and ways of working across the Group.
