As the Research and Insight Manager, you’ll bring your hands on experience and analytical mindset to synthesise available research data, conduct research, identify themes and produce high quality market analysis, insights, and recommendations. In this position, you will play a key role in driving insights into the business to inform decision making based on deep understanding of the market, customers and the perceptions they have of Westpac. You’ll collaborate closely with a passionate research team and engage with stakeholders across the bank to ensure insights are translated into action. This role requires someone with a strong drive to influence and inspire others, is creative and innovative and enjoys digging deep into questions to uncover insights that drive better outcomes for both our customers and the business. Expertise in quantitative research, and sampling and weighting approaches. Experience in conducting, analysing and interpreting research data from multiple sources to extract actionable insights. Excellent project management skills with ability to roll our projects within set timeframes and budget. Empathy and active listening skills to engage and relate to a wide range of stakeholders (internal stakeholders, customers, agencies) Analytical, with strong problem-solving skills. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Q/Displayr and Qualtrics an advantage. Strong data visualisation and reporting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in the financial environment an advantage.
