The Team
Join our Research, Analytics & Data Science team where data, insights, strategy, innovation, and customer obsession define our day-to-day.
We’re helping shape the future of 7-Eleven in Australia, re-thinking store formats, re-defining convenience, launching and trialling new food and products, all while delivering in a great team and supportive business environment.
Role Purpose
As our Research & Insights Analyst (SME), you will own and uplift our core research programs, while delivering actionable, commercially relevant customer, brand, and marketing insights across the business.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our customer research panel (The Convenience Collective), as well as our in-store Voice of Customer measurement program.
You’ll also contribute to broader Brand Health, NPD, and Marketing Effectiveness workstreams, helping to evolve our capabilities.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the execution of our Convenience Collective and VoC programs, including agency management, reporting and continuous improvement
  • Design questionnaires, script surveys, and manage reporting and analysis cycles
  • Collaborate with other SMEs and our Insight Business Partners in the broader RADS team to embed our recommendations into broader marketing, product, customer & channel strategies
  • Assist with uplift of our approaches, methodologies, agencies, and strategic priorities across the broader team
  • Play an active role in evolving how insights are delivered, communicated, and actioned within the business

What you bring to the role

  • Prior experience in research & insights roles (agency or client-side)
  • Previous experience working with FMCG brands
  • Strong capability across quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Hands-on experience in questionnaire design, survey scripting, panel management, and insight generation
  • Proficiency in Q, Human Listening Platform, or similar a bonus
  • Exceptional analytical and storytelling ability, you bring this stuff to life with clarity and impact
  • A proactive, commercial, and collaborative mindset, as well as an ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments
