Overview:
We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. Responsibilities:

Primary accountabilities:

• Concept formulation, application characterization and performance modelling of powder and liquid-based consumer beverage products.
• Project manage execution of PepsiCo deliverables defined in partner collaboration agreements.
• Interpret and integrate data streams from internal and partner labs.
• Define concept opportunities from early outputs of research collaborations, and screen in model systems, following PepsiCo’s Science and Technology stage gate process.
• Take leadership of projects once initiated and manage functional activity to ensure resources are aligned to maximise delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships across R&D and non R&D functions as necessary to support technology development and delivery.
• Report on projects/ program progression vs milestone planning through internal fora to senior management (from optimised one pagers to technical deep dive).
• Prepare scientific reports on findings and share best in class expertise with relevant associates
