Description

We are currently looking for a candidate to assist Professor Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz, founding and senior partner, in both her work as an arbitrator and her academic research. Over time, the successful applicant’s responsibilities will extend to serving as the secretary to the arbitral tribunal. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out research and provide support for academic work, as well as administrative support in arbitration proceedings.
The collaboration will be based on a mentor-mentee relationship. My role as a mentor will be to guide the candidate in acquiring the skills necessary to effectively fulfil the responsibilities of a secretary to an arbitration tribunal. Consequently, this offer is directed towards junior lawyers, preferably bar trainees or PhD candidates, who are keen to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of arbitration from the ground up.

  • Knowledge of MS Office (very good knowledge of MS Word is a must), typing speed 60-80 wpm
