YOUR FUTURE IN DETAIL
We are looking for an ambitious researcher with experience in epidemiology and a keen interest in data analysis to join our Group Cardiovascular Epidemiology of Ageing as a “Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in (w/m/d)” at the Department of Cardiology of the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital Cologne of the University of Cologne, Germany. This research group is funded by the Marga and Walter Boll Foundation. We investigate causes and biomarkers of age-related disorders, specifically focussing on cardiovascular and brain health. The identification of risk factors and biomarkers for these age-related diseases is a cornerstone for understanding the pathophysiology of degenerative diseases and developing targeted preventive measures. Additionally, we analyse driving factors of healthy and unhealthy ageing to improve prognosis for the oldest old.
Applications from female candidates are expressly welcome and will be given priority in the event of equal suitability, competence and professional performance. People with disabilities are welcome to apply and will be treated preferentially in the event of equal suitability and qualification. The position is suitable for staffing with part-time employees.

- Coordination of projects and cooperation with national and/or international clinicians, scientists, and project partners
