ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an excellent opportunity for a Research Assistant or Research Associate working at the intersection of global and public health, environmental science, and systems thinking. You will contribute to a Medical Research Council-funded award that investigates the complex and dynamic interconnections between environmental change and the double burden of malnutrition, with a focus on Peru. As part of this role, you will join a multidisciplinary and international research team at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London, and work closely with partners and stakeholders in Peru.
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
In this role, you will support the development of a system dynamics model aimed at exploring the interconnections between the double burden of malnutrition and environmental change in Peru. This will include reviewing relevant literature and synthesising insights, as well as drawing on inputs from stakeholder engagement. You will help design and co-facilitate stakeholder workshops in Peru, contributing to a participatory research process. Your role will also involve academic contributions such as drafting publications, sharing results with diverse audiences, and collaborating with partners in Peru.
