To strengthen our excellent team, we are looking for a research assistant (f/m/d) to support the ZANDR/Innovative cancer models lab (Innovative Cancer Models and ZANDR-Platform - St. Anna CCRI). We are using zebrafish larvae to model pediatric cancers and use state-of-the art imaging methods to investigate cellular interactions in tumor and tumor microenvironment. You will work together with a highly motivated team on pioneering drug screening in zebrafish larval xenograft models.
In this responsible role, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary competence center for pediatric cancer research and to have a direct influence on the development of new cancer therapies.

Responsibilities
  • Laboratory work:
  • image acquisition and analyses at the advanced microscopy infrastructure of the ZANDR platform
  • molecular biology work (PCR, cloning, sample staining, low cytometry)
  • general lab tasks (e.g. preparation of buffers)
  • Support zebrafish facility: maintenance of zebrafish lines
