Part time (0.5 FTE), fixed term position until 18 December 2028. Located at the Camperdown Campus Exciting opportunity to engage with innovative research methodologies and oversee the comprehensive management of data Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Research Assistant will work closely with the main researchers on an exciting Discovery project examining the development of microbiome research. Your main focus will be database and project management. This is an opportunity to contribute to database development and project coordination. The Research Assistant will also nurture partnerships, manage research documentation and ensure impactful dissemination of research outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: optimise research capacity of the project, ensuring research goals are met create, manage and populate a database of primary research documents coordinate data management processes, ensuring thorough analysis and reporting streamline administrative processes, ensuring efficient management of research documentation, publications, and compliance paperwork assist with presentation and publication of research outcomes in online, traditional media and conference formats About you database construction, management and optimization research management and administration experience including reporting and disseminating data previous experience working in a research environment and preferably the higher education sector conference management and media liaison Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
