Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Part-Time Research Assistant to support ongoing projects in biotechnology research. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in life sciences, research methodology, and scientific writing. The successful candidate will assist with structuring experimental data, synthesizing findings, and contributing to the preparation of research manuscripts and reports.

SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE & DATA STRUCTURING:

  • Collaborate with researchers to interpret experimental findings and organize them into coherent summaries.
  • Use strong foundational knowledge of biotechnology and molecular biology to support research activities and troubleshoot experimental workflows.
  • Assist in compiling, structuring, and formatting raw data into tables, figures, and other visual aids for research documentation.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong foundational understanding of molecular biology, cell biology, and biotechnology principles.
  • Familiarity with experimental techniques such as PCR, ELISA, gel electrophoresis, or similar methods.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
