Job Description
Job Summary:
Project Zero is a research unit in the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Its mission is to understand and enhance learning, thinking, and creativity in the arts, as well as humanistic and scientific disciplines, at the individual and institutional levels.
Based at Project Zero, the project called “Assessing Efforts to Nurture Character and Ethics in Higher Education” is working with colleges and universities to assess courses, programs, and whole school missions aimed at encouraging students to think “beyond the self.” In other words, we are collecting empirical evidence that will show whether, and if so, how, the college experience can broaden one’s sense of responsibilities to the campus community, a profession, society, and the world. We look to investigate the “value add” of courses, programs, and mission in higher education focused on character and ethics.

Basic Qualifications:
College background or equivalent experience, one to two years of related work experience (relevant coursework may count towards experience), and knowledge and specific experience with teaching/school settings. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, some knowledge of qualitative research methods, and good communication are requirements.
