We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointees will mainly assist with a project named “Establishment of an Exergaming Research Centre (ERC) for Healthy Aging”. The appointees will be responsible mainly for the following: Assist in data collection, data analysis and database management; Assist in leading elderlies for intervention; Prepare teaching materials and resources based on the study protocol; Provide health education to elderlies; Provide clear verbal instructions and physical assistance and adapt communication to participants’ comprehension levels; Monitor participants’ engagement and progress during sessions; Performing quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis; Provide technical and administrative support; and Providing other research-related assistance. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Education Psychology or a health-related discipline; Experience with fNIRS data collection and analysis is perferred; Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Able to work independently and effectively in a highly collaborative environment; Have a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; Good coordination, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and Prior experience in research projects involving older adults would be an advantage.
