QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

– Have an interest in inclusive methods of notating music, and familiarity with cross-genre collaboration in music performance.
– Possess excellent organizational and writing skills.
– Be comfortable using basic administrative software (i.e. word processing, Zoom).
– Be able to maintain confidentiality.
– Have experience in assisting in duties related to the production of articles, publications, reports and/or presentations (or similar activities).
Research Assistants II typically are students, normally in an undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research in the student’s area of study. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.

Responsibilities

The Research Assistant II will:
1. Assist in the acquisition of research materials and supplies.
2. Prepare literature reviews.
3. Assist in data collection, data entry, analysis and interpretation.
5. Perform routine clerical and administrative duties to support research activities.
6. Assist with duties related to the production of articles, publications, reports and presentations.
7. Perform other relevant duties assigned.
