ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering for a Research Assistant to carry out research and development activities in support of the Head of Department, Professor Washington Yotto Ochieng, CBE, EBS, CEng, FREng.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

You will work on strategy and business development underpinned by the development of security, resilience, computer vision, Simultaneous localization and Mapping (SLAM), resilient PNT and integrated models, algorithms and tools for autonomous navigation and wayfinding, situational awareness, and object detection (including prohibited items) for mission critical services.
