We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Research Assistant to provide crucial support to our team. This role will focus on conducting targeted research linked to our portfolio of work and completing administrative tasks based on company need.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

The following skills would be an advantage:

  • Knowledge of relevant safeguarding legislation and guidance.
  • A relevant qualification in social work, law, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI language tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Safeguarding experience in a paid or voluntary capacity e.g., in a charity, education, law enforcement, social care or youth work environment (whilst not essential is desirable).
Responsibilities

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conduct focused research on specific topics related to safeguarding, legislation, and industry trends to support the wider team and inform company projects.
  • Compile and summarise research findings into clear and concise reports.
  • Maintain a database of relevant information and resources linked to various topics.
  • Help to maintain up to date knowledge within the company by the dissemination of research findings.
  • Working as part of the team to support business projects and tasks, including safeguarding audits, reviews, content and snapshot insights.
  • Develop and maintain a contemporary understanding of legal, regulatory and policy frameworks alongside a knowledge of current safeguarding practice.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of online surveys and supporting analysis.
  • Provide administrative support for safeguarding audits and reviews by gathering material, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records and contacting external agencies when required.
  • Maintain and update electronic filing systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Data Protection: You will ensure you handle and manage all personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, UK GDPR and all relevant policies in force at any time by INEQE Group Ltd, these include, but are not limited to; Data Protection Policy, Information Security & Data Management Policy, Privacy Policies, Complaint Handling Policy.
