Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Life Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, or related disciplines; (ii) experience in cell biology-, molecular biology-based laboratory techniques are preferred; (iii) solid basic laboratory operation skills, proficient in centrifugation, plasma and PBMC processing; (iv) familiar with the operation and basic monitoring of -80 freezer and liquid nitrogen tank; (v) detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and compliance; (vi) able to work independently; and (vii) hands-on experience in whole blood processing, tissue culture or cell culture techniques are advantageous. Duties include (a) handling and processing human biological samples for research cases; (b) undertaking laboratory operations including reagent preparation, consumables management and quality control; (c) handling specimen storage, shipping, log management and data entry; and (d) performing other duties as assigned. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement. Responsibilities
