Description
The Department of Psychiatry is looking for a keen and experienced Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant to work on digital and computational psychiatry studies involving innovative research and high-impact international collaboration. Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, Counselling, Public Health, or related disciplines (for Junior Research Assistant); OR a Bachelor’s degree or above, with more than two years’ relevant post-qualification experience (for Research Assistant); (ii) inquisitive and willing to learn AI and data analysis skills; (iii) well-organised, reliable and efficient; (iv) readiness to make original contributions and to work with team members; and (v) enthusiasm in research and clinical translation, especially in mental and sleep health. The appointee will (a) provide support in research activities; (b) carry out experiments/trials; (c) conduct research projects with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, clinicians, and computer scientists; (d) maintain research databases and protocols; and (e) prepare reports and manuscripts. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
