Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Statistics or a related discipline; (ii) a strong sense of responsibility, maturity, and attention to detail; (iii) proficiency in English and Cantonese; (iv) a genuine interest in medical research; (v) experience in clinical research and data handling; (vi) strong statistical and analytical skills; (vii) the ability to work well both independently and in collaboration with the Medical Data Analytic Centre; and (viii) the ability to use statistical software packages (SPSS, R, SSAS) for data analysis and visualisation. Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Junior Research Assistant. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Duties include (a) conducting clinical research (including patient interaction); (b) extracting and managing medical data; (c) assisting the supervisor in establishing cohorts and performing big data analyses; and (d) performing other duties as assigned. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
