Description

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with excellent academic achievement, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline; (ii) strong programming skills in R, MATLAB, and/or Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and numerical computation; and (iii) preferably with prior research experience in actuarial science and/or statistics. PhD students who are permitted to work full-time will also be considered. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in conducting research in actuarial science; and (b) performing other assigned duties. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for six months, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
