Description

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Life Science or a related discipline; and (ii) enthusiasm in both bench and bioinformatics work. Experience in single-cell RNAseq/library preparation or bioinformatics is preferred. A good understanding of statistics and bioinformatics will be an advantage. The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Duties include (a) assisting in blood cells and cultured cell separation and processing; (b) assisting in real-time PCR and digital PCR analysis of DNA or RNA; and (c) performing other tasks as assigned. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
