SUMMARY

The research assistants are going to work closely with the research team of the SSRCH funded project “Resolving Temporal and Operational Expressions of Motivation and Cognition”.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current KPU students, preferably Psychology students
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, faculty, and other team members on research projects
  • Proficiency in using research tools and data collection tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, entry, and analysis to ensure reliable research outcomes
  • Prior experience in academic or applied research, either through coursework or involvement in research projects, is desirable
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to assist in writing research reports, presenting findings and communicating with team members
Responsibilities
  • Literature Search and Database Management: Conduct literature searches using onlinedatabases and maintain the research database.
  • Conduct Literature Reviews: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on relevant topics and synthesize findings for research projects.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of research data using appropriate methodologies and software tools.
  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter and manage research data in databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Attend Research Meetings: Participate in research meetings to share progress and contribute to discussions.
  • Participant Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment of research participants, which may involve reaching out to potential participants, distributing recruitment materials, and coordinating scheduling for other data collection.
  • Draft Research Reports: Help in preparing research reports, summaries, and presentations.
  • Support Project Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of research procedures, findings, and results.
  • Support Research Projects: Collaborate with the research team to support ongoing research projects and contribute to the development of research proposals.
