Description:
Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
The Research Associate will support cross-functional R&D teams by executing development plans and working in the LC-MS/MS systems.
- Under direct supervision of the technical team to execute the development plan, validate and implement high quality LC-MS/MS assays within pre-defined timelines.
- Execute assigned tasks and experiments with high quality on time and on schedule.
- Effectively drive operational excellence in all work tasks.
- Contribute, discuss, and complete technical documents required for various stages of product development.
- Maintain detailed experiment records in lab notebooks and follow SOPs in compliance with company guidelines.
- Apply and acquire scientific techniques, principles, and theory in assigned laboratory work.
- Monitor, inventory, and order lab supplies. Prepare solutions and maintain lab cleanliness.
- Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
- Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS in life sciences such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field
- At least 1+years analytical laboratory experience in an academic environment
- Strong academic record in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and statistics.
- Strong and effective English language skills, written and spoken
- Strong academic record in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and statistics.
- Knowledgeable of analytical lab techniques. Emphasis in sample preparation, chromatography, and mass spectroscopy.
- Ability to quickly learn complex software and instrument systems.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high throughput environment.
- Strong understanding of the scientific method
