[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct inspections across specified premises under the ESR
  • Plan and manage the deployment of resources, including manpower, for the conduct of inspections across specified premises
  • Ensure adherence to ESR standards and relevant legislation by overseeing audit and inspection activities
  • Assess inspection findings and decide on appropriate enforcement actions for cases of non-compliance
  • Empower and engage stakeholders, including Sectoral Leads, Environmental Control Officers or Coordinators, Premises Managers to support and achieve ESR Programme outcomes.
  • Manage and resolve feedback relating to ESR specified premises in a timely and effective manner

Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings from peer-reviewed publications

• Assist in designing and executing experimental protocols under supervision

• Maintain accurate records of research activities and experimental results

• Prepare detailed reports summarizing research progress and outcomes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals


Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, or related field

• Experience with laboratory techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, or cell culture is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting research and presenting findings

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, R, or Python is a plus

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
