The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant.
The Research Assistant will play a key role in the synthesis of catalysts and grafted molecules for the design, preparation, and optimization of durable and stable compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesis of grafted molecules
• Synthesis of catalysts
• Demonstrate proficiency in synthetic chemistry and nucleophilic reactions
• Utilize ChemDraw for molecular modeling and design

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Chemistry
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of SN2X and SNChX reactions
• Expertise in designing, preparing, and optimizing durable and stable grafted molecules
• Ability to guide and supervise undergraduate students
• Good written and oral communication skills
