RESEARCH ASSISTANT – PRECLINICAL DRUG DISCOVERY

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated research assistant to support preclinical proof-of-concept studies. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior scientists to assist with both in vitro screening and in vivo model development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc or MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Experience in animal handling and xenograft studies is an asset
• Practical experience with mammalian cell culture and common cell-based assays
• Comfortable working in both in vitro and in vivo research environments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Support in vitro testing of mRNA-LNP formulations in SCLC and SMYD3-overexpressing cell

lines

• Conduct assays to evaluate peptide expression, cell viability, apoptosis, and proliferation
• Prepare and handle standard mRNA-LNP formulations for experimental use
• Assist in the execution of murine xenograft studies, including tumor implantation, dosing, and monitoring
• Analyze and document experimental results; contribute to internal reports and patent-related summaries
