Position Summary:
The RA will support the development and operationalization of the SGI Office of Sustainable Africa by conducting stakeholder mapping, coordinating cross-sector engagement strategies, and contributing to applied research initiatives. The responsibilities include and not limited to:Gain a comprehensive understanding of SGI’s mission, with a focus on its Office of Sustainable Africa. Identify key stakeholders across academia, industry, and civil society working on Africa-focused sustainable nutrition and agri-food systems. Support the design of seed grant mechanisms to fund faculty-partner-student collaborations on sustainable business solutions. Plan cross-sector engagement opportunities, including forums and dialogues to inform applied research and student/alumni case competitions. Develop frameworks for international competitions.
Qualifications:
A student in good standing registered at the undergrad level or higher and has relevant experience and knowledge in the subject matter.
