QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Policy Studies, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
  • Outstanding writing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Quantitative and qualitative research capacity.
  • Familiarity with policy research and policy development.
  • High proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member.
  • Knowledge of Asian politics and economy is considered an asset.
Responsibilities

Research Support: Assist in content development of the Institute’s research plans, project/grant proposals and training programs; edits and proofreads the Institute’s reports, publications and proposals; researches and drafts policy briefs and briefing materials; prepares presentations and contributes to data collection, verification, and analysis.
Communications: Collects information and assists with preparation of media interviews; assists in communication with stakeholders on research projects; drafts letters and other correspondence as required.
Administration and Events: Supports TCI conferences and events as required; other administrative duties as assigned by the TCI leadership team.
