Description
The School of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Medicine in CUHK is seeking an outstanding candidate to join Prof. Joan Zuo's Research Team as Research Assistant, to support a project approved by the Chinese Medicine Development Fund (CMDF). Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related disciplines; (ii) meticulous, patient, and able to work under pressure with tight timelines; (iii) proficient in reading and interpreting English-language pharmaceutical and biomedical literature; (iv) strong computer skills, including proficiency with office productivity tools; (v) familiarity with reference managers, data spreadsheets, and basic database operations is a plus; (vi) strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills; and (vii) the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The appointee will be responsible for (a) searching, collecting, and synthesising HDI-related professional materials (e.g., publications, reports, databases); (b) classifying and organising collected materials; (c) identifying key sources and extracting project-critical data points; (d) standardising pharmaceutical-related terms and metadata to meet database specifications; (e) performing additional categorisation and research tasks as assigned; (f) maintaining accurate records, ensuring data integrity, and supporting cross-functional collaboration; and (g) performing other tasks as assigned. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
