Description

The Department of Surgery is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Research Assistant to work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. The appointee will mainly focus on research related to urological diseases. Applicants should have (i) a BSc degree or an MPhil degree in Biological Sciences or Medical Sciences; (ii) experience in or keen interest in clinical research, etc.; (iii) proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; (iv) good computer skills in Microsoft Office and/or statistical software; and (v) strong interpersonal skills. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting with clinical research projects; (b) supporting data collection and management; (c) aiding in sample collection; and (d) undertaking other tasks as assigned. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
