Description
The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in collaboration with MIT-RAISE, co-created the Al Education for Students Project. With funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, it aims to cultivate AI literacy and competencies in students, empowering them to learn more effectively, use technology more discerningly, innovate more creatively, hence better prepared for the future workplace and society. The Project engages schools to provide equitable access to quality AI learning for students in Hong Kong. Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree in Education, Statistics, or a related discipline, preferably with at least two years of working experience; (ii) experience in qualitative and/or quantitative educational research; (iii) strong statistical and analytical skills; (iv) excellent communication and interpersonal skills (proficiency in Cantonese will be an advantage); and (v) the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in teams. The appointee will assist supervisors in (a) conducting literature reviews in educational research; (b) developing measurement tools and conducting evaluations of the effectiveness of learning and teaching; (c) performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis; (d) preparing manuscripts; and (e) evaluating and participating in project events. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing November 2025, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
